Poker player wins without looking at the cards
Well known professional female poker player Annette Obrestad offered a strange tale of how she was able to win a poker tournament way back in 2007.
The professional poker player won an online poker tournament without even looking at her hole cards once in an experiment that was conducted to prove that winning an online poker tournament is about more than just the cards that you are holding within your pocket.
The PokerStars tournament was a 180 player strong tournament that featured a $4 buy in cost to the player, something that was able to not only keep out the players who were new to the game but also to avoid the big online poker names that regularly play online poker at the worlds biggest online poker room.
Obrestad placed a Post-It note over the area that represented her hole cards and looked to play the game completely blind to what card value show was holding at any point of the tournament.
