Check out real money online poker right here and now!

Online poker is one of the most diverse industry in the world. While some see online poker real money games as a competitive sport, somewhat like a much more popular and much more profitable chess game, others see it like a business and act accordingly, planning out their moves with the sole purpose of having a bigger bag of money at the end of the day. No matter how you see it, one thing is for certain: online poker is one of the most attractive activities available on the internet today, and you would be extremely lucky to master such a sport.

There are literally hundreds of millions of online poker players making a living from this game, and they gain a significantly larger amount of money than if they were to hold 9 to 5 jobs like the rest of us. It takes a lot of planning, commitment and dedication to reach the top (the top being the level where the largest amounts of money are being won), but it’s not impossible to have a steady stream of money come in from the game of online poker simply by spending a couple of hours in front of your computer. And the best thing about it is that with online poker you are your own boss, nobody keeps your schedule and nobody asks you to do something you don’t want to: if you want a holiday for a week, you’re free to do it.

But everybody has to start from somewhere, and if you want to start playing online poker for real money right now, you couldn’t have chosen a better time. The number of players is continuously growing, and it’s estimated that it won’t stop doing so anytime soon. In fact, the online poker laws throughout the world are getting more and more permissive with each passing day, allowing more and more online poker companies to start business in the area. This translates into some incredible news, and if you’re seriously looking to give this game a try, we bet you’re absolutely thrilled about the prospect.

We’ll even give you a piece of advice to get you started: Online Poker Real Money is a website located at OnlinePokerRealMoney.com, and it’s one of the best sites for beginners in the game. They have a list of the top online poker sites, sites that they themselves have tested and reviewed, so if you’re serious about joining the game you can start it off based on a friendly recommendation. And there’s one more thing: this recommendation also comes with a first deposit bonus, meaning that your bankroll will be boosted from the first moments you feed it with some cash.

So, if you’re looking to become one of us enthusiastic online poker players, get going and good luck!

NoiQ Poker

NoiQPoker.com is an online poker room that was established in 2006. The site operates on the Entraction Network and is one of the lesser known poker rooms with average player competition. However, if you’d like to play at a poker room that offers rakeback, NoiQ Poker is a pretty good choice. The site offers a good alternative to Full Tilt Poker due to the fact that the software is compatible with Poker Tracker and Holdem Manager in addition to giving a rakeback. There are not many poker rooms that offer this combination of a rakeback and compatibility with these poker tools. Unfortunately, NoiQ Poker does not accept American players; for them it’s not an alternative to Full Tilt Poker.

The software at NoiQ Poker is very basic and the graphics are not anything to rave about. But, the poker client does its job. The lobby has simple filtering options and is very easy to use, perhaps due to the very basic nature of the software. The site also lacks the features that most other poker sites have; in fact, you don’t even find numerical values for bet sizes. This could pose problems for multi-table play since you’d need to pay attention to the action at the tables.

Poker players who prefer good action at the tables will not be impressed by NoiQ Poker simply because there isn’t much traffic at the site when compared to the major poker rooms around, although you could play up to six tables at a time right through the day. Competition is soft with plenty of casual players but very few grinders. The only attraction and reason for hard-core poker players to choose NoiQ poker is the 30% rakeback offer. If you are a casual player and don’t mind the basic offerings at NoiQ Poker, go ahead and make the most of the soft competition and the rakeback.

Bonus and promotions at any online casino or poker room are an added attraction for players to sign up. At NoiQ Poker, new players are welcomed with 100% match bonus up to 1000 Euros. This is again quite standard when you compare it with other poker rooms. All other promotions at NoiQ Poker are focused on the rakeback deal they offer. In the month of November, there are some interesting rake races that will give away huge prizes. There are a total of four Rake Races in November that will give away € 1,15,000 worth prize pools.

An Instant Cash Loyalty Program is also offered for members wherein they collect VIP points and exchange them for amazing prizes like iPhone, Monster Beats Headphones, Mac Pro and many more. Players can also look forward to the November Freeroll series worth €21,500.

The noiq first deposit bonus has a few wagering conditions that need to be completed within 30 days of your deposit. Bonus is released in increments of €10. Players earn two VIP points for each Euro of rake paid. Although there is no bonus code to be used to redeem the bonus, it is advisable to opt for the rakeback offer by quoting the signup code “RAKEBANK”. This will ensure that your rakeback deal is ready and waiting when you begin playing.

At NoiQPoker.com, the currency used is the Euro, which is especially convenient for European players. The site offers the usual deposit and withdrawal methods that include debit and credit cards, e-wallets and wire transfers. Security at NoiQ Poker is taken very seriously and the site has a certification from Thawte. This is one of the reputed online poker rooms that have excellent rakeback promotions, good customer service, soft competition and decent volumes of traffic. So, why not check out NoiQPoker.com today?

Many questions now have AGCC’s side of the story

As is the case with many other areas of interest, online gambling often finds one hot subject and focuses on it, squeezing every bit of juicy detail from it. Whether it’s the rise of an online poker room, its demise, a new poker tournament or whatever else, people tend to focus on a particular subject, then every time there’s a new development in the case, they’ll revive it and go through the whole process all over again. It’s the same everywhere as in the Australian poker news.

Over the summer, this was exactly what happened with the Full Tilt Poker debacle. As many of you already know, Full Tilt Poker was one of the online poker rooms that the United States Department of Justice indicted in the April 15th events, also known as Black Friday. Ever since then, its problems only escalated – in June their license was suspended, no longer allowing online poker players to conduct any activity on the site, and just a couple of weeks ago their license was permanently removed.

Recently, Andre Wilsenach, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission CEO, gave an interview where he tried to clarify as many of the Full Tilt Poker issues as possible. Here are a few of the topics that he addressed:

- Full Tilt Poker, as an AGCC licensee, were obligated to inform the authority of any events, of any nature, that might have influenced the business operation.

- after the April 15th events, the agency still believed that Full Tilt would refund players.

- The AGCC did not know about the US Department of Justice freezing Full Tilt’s accounts, a whole 2-3 years before this spring’s events. This was only found out after their investigations uncovered these facts over the summer.

- contrary to scandals and rumors in the US, they do not believe Full Tilt is a Ponzi scheme.

- in case a new, definitive deal is made between Full Tilt and new investors, the AGCC will cooperate with the new owners and new board of directors, in order to give them a license as soon as possible.

- The AGCC was aware that Full Tilt’s funds and the players’ funds were kept in the same account, and were not alarmed by this. Unlike other authorities, the AGCC does not believe that separate accounts for these funds would have been enough to solve the issues.

These are a few of the most important subjects touched by the AGCC’s CEO, and they were able to clarify some of the questions that the people had regarding the whole debacle.

Online Poker’s biggest winners and losers in the first 9 months of the year

We find some of the biggest names in the game, on both lists

For many people all throughout the world, the online poker industry is a veritable blessing. It has allowed them to do what they love full time, and make enormous amounts of money off of their hobbies. All in all, it’s a dream few of us ever achieve, but the online poker pros are leaving it to the fullest, just watch any pokernews and you’ll immediately get the point.

The world of high stakes online poker is extremely dynamic. You can be up one day, down the next, then win back everything you’ve ever lost two days later. It’s extremely volatile, and you have to always be on your toes. Even the elite, the top online poker pros, have their ups and downs.

Speaking of which, with three of the four yearly quarters already behind us, it’s a good time to draw a line and see who’s up and who’s down so far.

On top of the winners table we find Gus Hansen. The Danish pro is now without an online poker room, as Full Tilt’s license was removed, but that hasn’t stopped him from making close to $4 million this year. Behind him we find Daniel “jungleman12″ Cates, who won just under $2 million. NoPasaran is just behind Cates, with $1.87 million won in online poker this year. He is followed by PokerStars Pro player Rafi Amit, who has $1.6 million gathered from the sport. Matt Hawrilenko completes the top 5, with $1.4 million. Further down the line, we see Phil Ivey ($1.3 million) and Patrik Antonius ($1.157 million).

In the biggest losers’ table, we find Tom Dwan, aka Durrrr, who has lost the largest amount of money over the year. He has lost a staggering $2.5 million, which pales in comparison to the amount of money he has won in his career. fishosaurusREX lives up to his name, as he’s lost $1.4 million so far. “kagome kagome” isn’t much luckier, with $1.37 million, and cadillac1944 is just behind him, with $1.336 million lost in the game. The losers’ list (the PokerStars edition) also contains the guy who has made the most money in online poker, Daniel “KidPoker” Negreanu. In the first 9 months of 2011 he has lost $447,151. But don’t worry about him, he’s got what it takes to win it back!

Today, the Australian Poker News is dominated with the stories of how Lee Nelson emerged as the winner of the professional ANZOT tournaments. This is really no big surprise for many fans of this great and spectacular tournament. Well whatever is the issue on the minds of many, the fact remains that Lee Nelson is still the biggest player in the world of Poke sport here in sub-continental region of Australasian, at least he had conclusively proved that. It’s obvious now that the recent declination in his appearances in sporting events a few years back has really not have any negative impact on his gaming career. Lee Nelson still remains the “Final Table” we all used to know.

The Australia New Zealand Poker Tour has never been better than this year’s edition. The tournament time around was fiercely contested by many big names in the game of poke. Even for the happy New Zealander, the tournament had not been easy. The stiffness of tournament intensified significantly after Erich Stadler and Seonglee Ang crash out of the game, making it an all star competition on the final table. Shortly after the commencement of this round, the Australian Justin Sanchez bagged the 9th position and bowed out of the competition with a token of $13,020. Well, it looked like it gonna be a bad year for Australian stars as Brett Chalhoub (8th position), Stephen Eliesen (7th position) and Tom Wing (6th position) fell out consecutively, with each of them bagging a token reward of $17,670, $22,320 and $27,900 respectively.

Phil Willcocks became the first and onlyNew Zealand to crash out of the final table phase of the tournament. He was sent packing just before the break for dinner by the Australian Super-Star, Nick Georgoulas. Well, it’s not all lost as Phil Willcocks pocketed an appreciable sum of $34,100.

The game resume with greater vigor after the hurriedly taken dinner break. This time around, Karan Punjabi was forced to join the losers queue. He didn’t spent much time before being joined Danny Chevalier, his fellow Australian. Well, the two are not left empty handed as they’re rewarded with $43,090 and $55,180 for occupying 4th and 3rd positions respectively.

The exist of Karan Punjab and Danny Chevalier left the game open with only Australian Nick Georgoulas and the New Zealander Lee Nelson. This concluding part turned out to be the most exciting of the whole games of the tournament. At the start of the game, Nelson shoot off ahead of Georgoulas, but nevertheless, Georgoulas quickly doubled up himself, refusing himself to be felled.

The decisive moment finally came when Lee out-maneuvered his opponent by playing out J♥T♥. Georgoulas made a move to save his fate by employing the pocket fours. Nelson dealt a concluding blow on the resulting 8♥A♥K♥ flop and that was it. Lee Nelson carried the day, thereby giving us a fanatic headline for the Poker News.

Make the most of Bonuses at Online Poker Real Money Sites

Did you wonder why online poker real money sites are more popular than the brick and mortar live casinos? Apart from the convenience that online poker real money site provides, the online poker rooms reward the players with generous bonuses at every turn. Online poker real money sites offer various types of bonuses. Some of these bonuses are:

No Deposit bonus

Sign up Bonus or First Deposit bonus

Reload bonus and

Refer-a-Friend bonus

Can you even imagine a traditional brick and mortar poker room offering you a bonus to join up? They might laugh at you. In the online world, casino operators depend on bonuses and promotions to attract new customers and keep up their client base. Each online poker real money site is constantly revising their bonus offers so log in at poker online for real money to keep abreast of the latest poker news, bonuses and strategy to play winning poker.

If you look around at the different online poker real money sites offering a sign up bonus you might find some huge differences in the size of bonus being offered. Some online poker real money sites might offer you a 111% bonus (not in excess of $1100) while room others might give you 200% bonus (not in excess of $1000). Suppose you deposit $100 with room first online poker real money site, your bonus will be $111 while it will be $200 if you deposit the same amount at other online poker room.

Just as there are variations in the bonuses being offered by online poker real money sites, there are also variations in the terms and conditions for these bonuses. So before you sign-up, you might want to read the terms and conditions for the bonus offers.

When you join an online poker real money site, you will most certainly receive a sign up bonus. All such bonuses come with conditions attached. The online poker real money sites have some conditions for you to fulfill before they release or permit you to redeem the bonus. To be fair to them, if they do not put conditions, there’s nothing stopping the customers from joining up, depositing money and withdrawing it immediately from their accounts.

Bonus conditions are play-through requirements to be completed within a specified time. You will be expected to play a certain number of online poker real money hands to clear your bonus. The games have to be played within a certain number of days, say 30 days or 45 days or whatever the online poker room deems fit.

So what constitutes a good bonus when you sign up at an online poker real money site? In simple terms, a good bonus is one that has small play through requirements and a longer time limit within which to complete them. The poker room does not want to lose out by giving you a bonus, so they want you to play online poker for real money wherein you will be paying a rake or fee for each hand of poker you play. In return, you will be given points for each dollar of rake you pay. Every dollar of the bonus will be equal to X number of points you earn by playing poker. The more points you earn for the rake at an online poker real money site, the lesser points you will need to clear for your bonus and that decides how easy or how difficult it is to clear the bonus.

Another deciding factor on the quality of the bonus being offered is the time limit within which you can redeem the bonus. Clearly, the longer the time limit, the better it is for you. In most cases online poker real money sites permit 60 days to play redeem your bonus. Some online poker real money sites however may generously offer 90-day terms. You would definitely want to read the terms carefully because, there are many an online poker real money site that allow only 30 days within which you have to clear your bonus. If you are a regular poker player or you play high stakes games, the time limit to clear the bonus may not be an issue. But if you are a casual player or a beginner, then the time period for redeeming the bonus will play an important role in your decision to avail the bonus or not.

Other factors to consider are the match percentage and the size of the bonus. Higher the match percentage, better the bonus since it allows you to redeem more bonus money. However, you should be cautious about bonuses that offer a ridiculously high match percentage. Such bonuses will no doubt have unattainable play through conditions. In online poker real money terms, large bonus money is also good for your bankroll. Rule of the thumb is that, a smaller bonus with a shorter redemption period or easier terms is better than a large bonus with more difficult terms.

What is the new True Poker address

Like many other poker sites true poker has moved

The internet is now loaded with a number of online gambling sites. While some have gained a great reputation through their comprehensive platforms and easy to use software, many others have come and gone for a variety of reasons. True Poker is definitely one of the smaller poker sites online, compared to Poker Stars, Full Tilt and Sports Book Poker. However, it does offer some unique features, and if you like a more intimate setting, then True Poker might be the place for you.

First off, the download. The software downloads in about two minutes or so with a high speed internet connection. The registration process is fairly simple, and you are able to actually observe play at tables without having to register first.

You also have the ability to download the software and use it in either 2D or 3D form. In 3D form, you have the choice of picking from a large selection of avatars, and the sound effects and and motions do give it a 3D feel. For me however, the graphics are definitely outdated. Many of the larger poker sites have surpassed True Poker in look and feel, and True Poker in many ways feels rudimentary in nature. I don’t know when they last updated graphics, but it doesn’t feel like you’re sitting at a table in the year 2010, it feels more like an online poker table from several years ago.

Standard options are available for poker games, but more limited than other online sites. Texas Holdem, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Low are offered at True Poker, with both pot limit and no limit games. If you like to multitask when playing online, True Poker does give you the ability to play at four different ring games at a time, or three games plus a tournament game. You cannot play in two different tournaments at the same time.

True Poker does charge a rake, as do most online poker sites. The rake at True Poker is calculated based on the size of the pot and the number of players at the table. Players’ real money accounts is comprised of both cash and chips. Chips go with you when you arrive at a table and are able to be viewed by all other players.

Deposit options are pretty standard based on most online poker sites. Visa, Mastercard and most of the eWallet functions are able to be used at True Poker, and they also allow deposits by Person to Person transaction. Simply contact the cashier at a toll free number, and online transfers can be handled between the amounts of $100-$1500. Payouts are somewhat restricted, however. When deposits are made by credit cards, payouts are only made back through UseMyBank or bank drafts, and payments from True Poker can only be made once per week.

Overall, True Poker is definitely a smaller and more limited venue, and while the 3D software was state of the art several years ago, it’s clearly in need of an upgrade. As I mentioned previously, if looking for an intimate experience, True Poker is OK. Personally, I would opt for more up to date online poker venues, but remember to use the best poker bonus code before you join.

It’s Official Now – Poker is a Game of Skill

The latest pokernews has put a smile on many poker players faces.

Online poker is not legal in many jurisdictions including United States. One of the foremost arguments in legalizing online poker has been whether poker is a game of skill or luck. In an attempt to answer this question, a new paper has been presented by Steven Levitt along with Professor Thomas Miles, titled “The Role of Skill Versus Luck in Poker: Evidence from the World Series of Poker.” Data used in the analysis for the paper consists of data from the 57 tournaments of World Series of Poker 2010. In the statistical analysis, some players have been classified as ‘skilled’ players based on their previous results and these have been compared to the other players.

The study found that the skilled poker players fared distinctly better than the rest. They earned thirty percent return on their investment while the rest of the players suffered a fifteen percent loss on their investments. The paper draws attention to the fact that even the difference in the return on investment at the Wall Street is not so wide, proving that skill is a major factor in the game of poker.

Poker was also compared to other sports in the study and Steven Levitt and Professor Miles found that a skilled player is 54.9% likely to come out ahead of an unskilled player. This is almost the same edge that you’d find at Major League Basketball which is 55.7% – and basketball is a game of skill. The paper therefore concludes that poker is also a game of skill in view of the available data – something that poker players have always been saying.

In a recent development that will warm the hearts of poker aficionados, a French court has ruled that poker is a game of skill and not based purely on luck. A French citizen Jean Pierre Gleizes was charged with organizing poker events in public venues without obtaining the necessary permissions to do so. In France, gambling without proper licenses is considered illegal. So, in order to refute the charges of illegal gambling, the defense attorneys attempted to show that poker was a game of skill. To demonstrate the fact, professional poker players, mathematics professors as well as top chess and bridge players were presented to the court.

The French Criminal Court of First Instance accepted the arguments and ruled that the game of poker is one of skill and not of chance. This ruling will definitely have a positive impact on poker not only in France but elsewhere as well. In France itself, individuals could host poker games without the fear of flouting rules and regulations or without it being deemed illegal gambling. However, taxation issues still need to be addressed, especially since the online gambling regulations are in effect in France.

Ultimately, the government will also earn revenue since professional poker players will be required to pay taxes on poker winnings which will be considered as income rather than winnings from gambling. But this may not sit well with professional French poker players who currently don’t pay any taxes on poker winnings. It is also possible that the ruling may be overturned by the Conseil d’Etat, the Supreme Court of France when the case comes up for hearing.

US Poker Pros

Canada is the most likely candidate, but will it work?

After the Black Friday events, the owners and people behind online poker companies were desperately trying to salvage what they could. Players were desperate to get their money shipped to them until it’s too late, and every newscaster in the poker industry was desperate to find new information regarding the case. But the worst fate was, by far, that of the pro online poker players. Online poker is their entire livelihood, and they had to find a different way to play, since the US essentially got locked down.

Brian Hastings, also known by his poker handle, Stinger, also known for his win against Isildur1 – worth $4.1 million (which happened in a single session back in 2010) is one of the most recent pro players to ponder a move to the United States’ northern neighbor. He is currently thinking of establishing himself in Canada, and if he does, he’ll join the ranks of players like Phil Galfond, Olivier Busquet or Daniel Negreanu. And Hastings isn’t the last one to make this move – unless the current legislative environment changes dramatically for the US in regards to online poker most of the online poker pros currently based in the US will try to find new places to relocate to. And can you blame them?

Another case that’s similar to Hastings’ is that of Dan “Jungleman12″ Cates. He took it one step further, and decided he definitely wants to start playing from Canada. He eagerly tweeted this to his followers that he was going to Vancouver and can’t wait to start grinding. Upon crossing the border, though, things took an unexpected turn, as he was denied entry into the country for “being an illegal immigrant”. He followed up and corrected this statement, stating that he had actually been denied entry on the grounds that he didn’t have a visa. He is still trying to find a way to get to Vancouver at the moment.

So it seems like a full on exodus, as American-based online poker pros, some of the best poker players in the world (keep in mind, Brian Hastings, for instance, is a veritable Pot Limit Omaha expert) are looking for ways out of the country. This translates into trouble for the US if they eventually go about regulating online poker, and they find that their top players are gone. We will post the latest poker news on the developement in the case.
